At OLA we believe in landscape as an inseparable component of daily life. The way in which people use and experience their daily spaces both forms and is informed by their surrounds, creating an integrated relationship that OLA understands and interweaves into the design of every outdoor space.

OLA’s deep understanding of how people use space forms the backbone of their design process. Combining an excellent ability to listen and integrate client needs with construction knowledge and respect for the natural systems found within gardens and their wider landscapes, OLA is able to create unique and timeless designs for every site.

About OLA

OLA was founded and is directed by Dustyn O'Leary, a qualified Landscape Architect with 10 years experience and a passion for creating truly amazing outdoor spaces. Dustyn is a passionate gardener with extensive plant knowledge, a recreational artist and local community representative. Dustyn lives and breathes rural life, having grown up in the northern Rodeny area and built her own home on steep lifestyle property in Ahuroa.

Dustyn has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with Honors and was the recipient of many awards during her studies, including the NZILA/Frank Boffa Supreme Award for Overall Excellence in the Final Year. Dustyn is a current member of the NZILA.
